FEAR

2008.07.01

Almost two months ago, the streets of Beirut had become a war zone. Luckily it did not last more than a couple of days. As brave and heroic as one can be, fear is always present, it is the intensity that varies.

This picture was taken when i was fleeing my house, sitting in the back of a taxi cab, wondering what was happening, what will happen. I don't know how war journalists and photographs do it... only to hear the sound of bullets tears me apart...

ronin53 Great post!!!
and so sorry about that situation; let's hope humanity will understand how crazy is...
about war photoreporters, I should say that it is matter of choice, a difficult choice, to go somewhere to witness and show anyone how far human being can go.
I had the chance to be and to work in Iraq and in Pakistan and I can assure you it was not a walk in a rose garden.
